1. Spinach

You should never warm up already cooked spinach because it can be very unsafe for your overall health. It is recommended to eat spinach right after its preparation. You ask why? Well, spinach contains a high rate of nitrates. These nitrates are transformed into nitrites once you warm it. This means that the spinach is carcinogenic for your body after being warmed up.

2. Celery

Celery is mostly used for soup preparations. This vegetable contains nitrates, same as the spinach, and it goes the same, meaning the nitrates turn into nitrites after being warmed. It is better, in a way, to take the celery out of the soup and warm it. The same thing goes for carrots as well.

3. Beets

Potatoes have numerous useful properties, which make them great for the overall health.
