This Soap Causes Breast Cancer And Everyone Uses It Daily

Kyung-Chul Choi a researcher from Chungbuk National University with his colleagues from The Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology conducted a study to see how triclosan affect the hormonal system. In the previous research, triclosan is known to imitate the feminizing hormone estrogen. The chemical modify the production and expression of other hormones like testosterone.

Triclosan trigger abnormal cellular growth because it affect the endocrine system. The abnormal growth of the cells can lead to cancer. Therefore, triclosan is known as a breast cancer cause.

This is not a new issue actually. Shopper bunches like the Environmental Working Group (EWG) and Beyond Pesticides has a lot of concern about the risk of triclosan since a long time ago. They have brought the issue to the light and try to emphasize how triclosan is a known Endocrine-Disturbing Synthetic (EDC) and try to eliminate the usage of the chemical from many individual products.
