13 Things You Should Never, Ever Do During Your Period!!!

Men always tell woman they are too emotional during their period. Getting out of bed is a struggle, with cramps and other hormonal issues.

There are also millions of things you shouldn’t do on your period. Here are just a few:

  1. Cook

Venturing into the kitchen, we are running the risk of hurting someone. What if one of our emotional attacks occurs while we have a knife in hand? We’re already used to the blood. This is why you should never enter the kitchen while you have your period, not even for a snack.

  1. Use Our Phones

If we pick up our phone, we might just end up calling our ex. At this emotional time of the month, we might call them and try to get back. Even if we don’t try to get back with them we might just curse them out for no reason. But, how could be our fault when we are on our period and our emotions are all out of whack.

  1. Exercise In Any Way

If you feel bloated, don’t worry, it’s because you are on your period. Once these few days are over, you’ll be sexy self again. You don’t have to exercise now, and you don’t have to risk ruining your new workout clothes. Save yourself the trouble of putting them through the wash until the stains come out.

  1. Watch Romantic Comedies

If you are in relationship, romantic comedies make you miss being single, or, if you are single they might make you miss being with someone. Never forget that, people in movies and TV shows are just acting, their life seems perfect but it’s just a show not reality.

  1. Eat Tons of Chocolate

Don’t stuff yourself with chocolate because you’re on your period. You’re not going to feel any better. You can eat few candy bars, but don’t go insane. At the end, you will be angry at yourself.

  1. Start Arguments

Starting a fight, you will probably say things you really don’t mean, and you will just hurt the other side, and you’ll probably regret it after.

  1. Get Out of Bed

You feel horrible and no one wants to deal with your emotional outbursts, so why even bother to get out of bed? Stay in the same position for four or five days and then you can re-emerge like the beautiful butterfly you are.

  1. Take a Shower

You feel horrible for sure, so why jump in the shower, a better alternative you can do to stay clean and feel better is by taking a bath maybe even sip on some wine and just relax. Your mind and body will feel amazing.

  1. Do Housework

The heap of clothes on your bathroom floor and that pile of junk on the kitchen cabinet are not going anywhere, so don’t make yourself miserable trying to take care of things when you are having your period.  Leave all the mess, and crawl back into bed with a book or a movie.

  1. Eat Fast Food

You probably don’t really feel like leaving the house, so grab a mug of hot chocolate or eat a candy and skip the burger and fries.

  1. Run

One of the worst ideas ever is running while you are menstruating. Burning extra calories won’t be all that beneficial. Don’t run down the stairs, don’t run across the parking lot and never run around the block on your period.

  1. Sit at All

Try to avoid sitting down at all. Lie on the sofa when you watch TV, lie in the tub when you must get clean and lie down in your bed for the whole day.

  1. Think

Don’t make your brain and body hurt all at once during this time. Don’t worry, everyone will get used to it!
