Salt can contribute in many different ways, making our lives much easier. Plus, you don’t have to worry about anything, as it’s completely natural.
You can add salt (sodium chloride) in many different products, to improve their work. For example, if you have an oily hair, and nothing seems to work for you, sodium chloride is the answer to your prayers. All you need to do is add 2 to 3 tablespoons of salt in your shampoo and shake it well, to combine. Then, wash your hair as you usually do. You’ll notice results of improvement only after a couple of washes!
You can use sodium chloride as a body scrub. Just make sure to get coarse sea salt. Let’s start with the preparation. Take half a cup of coconut oil and mix it with 2 tablespoons of sea salt. You can add more if you like. Mix the ingredients until they combine, and put the mixture in a jar. Leave it in a cool place, so that the coconut oil can solidify. Et voilà, your inexpensive and all-natural body scrub is ready to use.
Another amazing use of this natural mineral is as a foot exfoliant. Mix equal parts of olive oil and salt, and rub your feet with the mixture. Repeat the treatment at least two times a week, and you’ll say goodbye to dry and cracked feet.
SODIUM CHLORIDE AS A NATURAL REMEDY
Have you ever had a paper cut? It’s painful and annoying, doesn’t it? Whenever you have a small cut or wound, you just do the following: dissolve 2 teaspoons of sodium chloride in a glass of water, take a little bit of the mixture and put it on the wound, to disinfect it. You’ll instantly feel a light tingling sensation, which means that the solution is working.
If you suffer from constant headaches, dissolve one tablespoon of salt in a glass of water and drink it. The headache will calm down in about 10 to 15 minutes.
Important: If you suffer from hypertension, be careful, as you should limit your intake of salt. Otherwise, it may additionally increase your already high blood pressure. However, external use of this natural mineral won’t worsen your condition.
