Homeless Family Sits In Jail Lobby With Nowhere To Go. Then Cop Takes Them Away.

Tierra Gray and her two young children were homeless. They had nowhere to go and were sat in the jail lobby of Butler County Sheriff’s Office. The mom had no other option, her family would be left to live on the streets if she didn’t take them there.

Take a look below:

The desperate mom was terrified. She sat there worried all night, with her two sons asleep beside her, and prayed to God to send an angel their way.

She shared with WLWT 5, “I was just like Lord, what is it that I am supposed to do? What am I supposed to do right now? My kids are here sleeping inside of a jail lobby. I never thought I’d go through that, I mean, to that point. That right there was my breaking point.”

The next morning, an angel did appear.

But not in the form you would expect.

That angel was Brian Bussell, a 25-year deputy veteran for the Butler County Sheriff’s Office.

According to WLWT 5, when Bussell asked the mom if she and her kids needed help, he found out that they were recently evicted from their apartment and had nowhere else to go.

Gray thought he was going to ask her to leave but instead, they shared a conversation about life and God.

After hearing the trio’s heart-rending news, Grey shared with WLWT 5 that Bussell told them, “…he was going to help and that we were going to get everything we need taken care of, and I just cried… Thank God, you are the angel I have been praying for all night.”

Deputy Bussell was determined to help the family. He called several shelters to find a place for the family to stay. Most of the shelters were overcrowded or needed a time requirement to be there. This did not stop Bussell from helping further.

Most of the shelters were overcrowded and couldn’t give the family a bed for the night.

This did not stop Bussell from helping further. KTLA 5 reported that Bussell booked a 10-day hotel stay in Oxford, where the family lived and the children went to school. He paid for the family’s hotel stay out of his own pocket but that’s not all.

The kind-hearted cop also took the family to Walmart. He told them to pick out clothes, shoes, toiletries and snacks they wanted.

According to our source, the mom posted a picture of Bussell and her sons with the following caption:

God is so good!! He brought this Angel Officer Brian Bussel and the Butler County Sheriff Department to our rescue this morning. I knew God has a reason for everything he does even though we have been going through storm after storm our rainbow sure has come this morning. My kids and myself will never forget what God and his Angels had done for us!! Did I say God is good? I think I did but I’m gonna say it again, GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME EVEN THROUGH THE MIST OF YOUR STORMY WEATHER!!! Amen!! Will everyone please share this post so that he is recognized for being our Angel sent from God please!!! This should make news. Share!!!! share!!!! share!!!!

Gray hopes that this will encourage parents to teach their children to respect officers. Brian Bussell is not only a good officer but a GREAT human being with a kind heart. This uplifting story is a reminder that the world is full of wonderful people and to strive to be one.
